The 120-year-old downtown club, has been a Seattle music venue and bar since 1910. It gained fame during the grunge era, hosting Pearl Jam’s first live shows as Mookie Blaylock and performances by Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, and Mudhoney. Nirvana debuted an early version of Aneurysm here in 1990.
The venue was the heart of the grunge explosion in the β90s that changed Seattle and music forever.
Later on, El CorazΓ³n served as the launching pad for new generations of Seattle bands that have gone on to big record deals and world tours, including The Fall Of Troy, Macklemore, Aiden, Schoolyard Heroes, Himsa, 3 Inches Of Blood, This Providence, and Monsters Scare You.
