Complete the Power Box Jigsaw Puzzle!
In 2020, Henry was commissioned to create a mural for an electric box in Occidental Square, part of a larger City of Seattle project to transform power boxes into pieces of public art. His design celebrates the diversity of people who come to the city, symbolized by a turtle carrying its home on its back.
On the opposite side of the box, he painted a piece that represents connection and care — a reflection on the importance of relationships in building community. A southwest setting hints at the many different places people come from.
The mural is protected by a special coating that allows graffiti to be easily cleaned off. Henry occasionally returns to touch up the piece and keep it looking fresh.
